Ilha da Fuzeta is a sandy A-frame beachbreak with both left- and right-hand waves. It becomes surfable with southeast, south or southwest swell, starting around 1-1.5 metres and holding larger swells. Rides commonly range from 50 to 150 metres, with longer waves possible on good days. The beach is generally calm and low-swell, so quality surf is conditional rather than consistent. The spot lies within the protected Ria Formosa area.
