Praia de Rosa Branca is a sandy A-frame surf break in urban Quarteira, also known as Rosa Branca and Coco Point. It produces both lefts and rights, with rides usually under 50 metres and occasional better waves reaching 50-150 metres. The wave is fast and powerful, generally operating with swell from around 1-1.5 metres and holding 3 metres or more. Southeast, south and southwest swells are favourable, with the break working best around low and falling tide. The nearby port brings boat traffic and anglers on the jetties, while the beach itself is unguarded.
