Surf spot guide Β· Algarve, Portugal
Fast, powerful GalΓ© reef break offering long lefts and rights over rock and sand.
GalΓ© is a fast, powerful reef and rock break with lefts and rights over a mixed sand-and-rock bottom. Typical rides range from 50 to 150 metres, extending to 150-300 metres on good days. The break starts working with approximately 1-1.5 metres of swell and favours west to southwest swell. It is best suited to experienced surfers, particularly around the faster reef section. The public beach has paved-road access, nearby parking, and entry by stairs or ramp.
