Short, hollow left breaking beside rocks in a sheltered south-facing Algarve bay.
Três Irmãos is a short left beach break at the eastern end of Alvor’s long beach, breaking between rocks. Rides are generally under 50 metres over sand and rock, with a hollow, powerful shape close to the rocks. It starts working around 1-1.5 metres and can hold 2 metres or more, although larger surf becomes increasingly demanding. South to southeast swells and north to northwest winds provide the best setup, with rising, high, and falling tides commonly favourable. The wave is best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers, particularly when the rock-adjacent peak is hollow and powerful.
