Vale do Lobo is an exposed, sand-bottom beach break at Praia de Vale do Lobo, producing both lefts and rights. It receives groundswell and windswell and is fairly consistent when conditions align. West-southwest swell, northeast wind and mid tide offer the preferred setup. Winter provides the most consistent clean waves, with January particularly favorable. The break is accessed from the shore via the public beach.
