Vila Real de Santo António refers to Praia de Santo António, also known as Praia dos Três Pauzinhos, beside the Guadiana mouth. It is an exposed, inconsistent sandy beach break with peaks breaking both left and right. South-southwest swell with north-northeast offshore wind provides the cleanest setup, while east winds receive some shelter. The beach is generally beginner-friendly, although wave quality and size can vary considerably.
