Majanicho sits on the rugged north coast of Fuerteventura, tucked inside a broad bay backed by a small fishing village. The reef intercepts NW through NE swells and redirects them along a straight uneven-reef line into progressively deeper water. The wave pitches at the take-off then shoulders predictably, allowing sustained cutback practice across 200 to 500 metres before fading into the bay. Height ranges from 0.9 to 3 metres and the medium-speed pace suits surfers linking rail turns rather than hunting tubes. The take-off offers a gentler entry or an occasional vertical launch, giving intermediates room to choose. Consistency is high because the north coast geography funnels a wide swell arc. Crowd pressure stays moderate as the long paddle out discourages casual visitors. Easterly winds flood the bay with windsurfers and kiteboarders, making those sessions unsuitable for shortboards. Access is free and roadside from the paved road through Lajares.
