Flag Beach.

Flag Beach sits at the southern edge of Corralejo's dune system, where a mixed reef and sand bottom produces scattered a-frame peaks that shift position with each swell. The wave is primarily mellow and forgiving, with medium-speed walls offering easy cover-ups when the NW winds blow offshore. E windswells keep it lively through much of the year, while a solid N groundswell will stack the peaks and add punch to the takeoffs. Barrel sections appear on the better NW days, though they are rarely the main event. The break works at all tides, making it consistently accessible, though outgoing tide tends to sharpen the reef sections. As Corralejo's closest surf beach it sees constant traffic - kite and windsurf gear share the wider shoreline, while surfers cluster on the peaks south of the hotel zone. The Blue Flag section in front of the hotels explicitly bans surfing, so positioning matters. Entry is straightforward from the beach with free carparking, a lifeguard on duty, and multiple surf schools operating along the strand.
