El Burro.

El Burro sits on Fuerteventura's northeast coast just south of Corralejo's hotel strip, where an uneven submerged reef produces A-frame peaks across a 50-100m window. The break handles virtually any N swell, but the best sessions come from solid northerly groundswell pushing 0.9-4.6m, with wrapping energy filling both left and right shoulders. Wave depth is shallow, giving the peaks a punchy, wedging character - lower tides tighten the A-frames into more critical, performance-oriented sections while higher water softens things into a workable ride for improvers. The reef sits beneath a deceptively sandy beach, locally called Glass Beach after Surfline's alias and Stormrider's environment note. Entry is straightforward from the sand, with the road passing close to the beach at the southern edge of the hotel zone providing easy access and roadside parking. Strong rip currents run through the lineup and must be understood before paddling out.
