Bajo del Medio is a submerged reef peak in Corralejo bay, known locally as Rocky Point. When north-coast spots max out on big swell, this a-frame comes alive. The outside opens as a wide, bombora-style right shoulder on N swell, while the inside produces a faster, shallower left. Waves range 0.9-3.7m and fire best on a pure N push with a SW offshore. Wellcovered depth keeps take-offs accessible for intermediates, though the hollow shape throws barrel sections on bigger days, with rides reaching 200-500m. The peak shifts with size and swell direction, sometimes splitting into two separate peaks. Access follows a one-way road from central Corralejo then cuts through an empty plot - the spot sits off the main road and car break-ins are a known risk, so leave nothing inside. Entry and exit involve uneven reef with bad rocks near the waterline. Crowds pack in hard when it fires, but mid-range consistency keeps the lineup manageable on most days. Arrive early on solid N swells.
