Los Caños is a left-hand reef break inside the Bahia de Trafalgar on the Costa de la Luz, Andalucia. The wave pitches steeply over a shallow rock ledge before wrapping into walls that can run 200 to 500 metres on the best swells. Take-off is vertical and fast, with hollow barrels on the initial drop giving way to workable wall sections down the line. The break fires when a solid SW through NW groundswell hits with a north-easterly offshore. Big swells tend to close out the bay, compressing the rideable window. Low to mid tide gives the cleanest shape; at higher water the ledge cushions and the wave loses its snap. The spot sits in front of 1960s holiday apartments between Cape Trafalgar and Barbate, with free parking nearby. This is one of the standout lefts on the Atlantic coast of southern Spain - the peak is tiny, crowds are always heavy, and the vibe carries real attitude. Faro Right and Yerbabuena sit within a few kilometres for alternatives.

Always crowded. The peak is extremely small, which concentrates every surfer onto a single tight zone. Attitude from locals is reported at the peak during good swells.
