Meio da Baía is a sandy beach break along the central section of Peniche’s long North Bay. Multiple left- and right-hand peaks form across the beach, with generally mellow rides and occasional faster, more powerful sections. Barrels can appear when the sandbanks and swell align, while the central peaks are more challenging than the softer bay ends. North to northwest swells are most reliable, with south-sector winds offering favorable conditions. The spot works year-round, with the best surf typically arriving from October through May.
