Remote and adventurous
If it is flat in Kuta, come here: Sereweh is the region's swell magnet and often still has a wave when the south coast is dead.
Surf early. The wind gets onto it later in the day.
The easy way in is a boat from Awang or from Ekas rather than the 1.5 to 2 hour ride overland.
Aim for mid tide or a dead tide, when the current around the reef is at its weakest, and never surf it at dead low.
