Punta Blanca K16 is a submerged reef peak on Tenerife's southwest coast that breaks over an uneven, super-shallow shelf at the K16 road marker. The peak offers both directions on the take-off but the right closes out almost immediately, leaving the left to rifle down the reef in a tight, bowly wall that wedges and pitches with real force. Depth is critical: the reef sits exposed and boiling at low to mid tide, producing the hollow, airdrop entry the spot is known for. Waves run 50-100m before tapering out, and the window of 0.6-3.7m is deceptive - anything above 2m becomes a serious commitment. A wrapping NW or N swell is the trigger, delivering clean lines that break with a predictable but punishing rhythm when an easterly holds the face open. The spot sits directly beside the coastal road, so the paddle-out is short, but the lineup itself leaves no margin for hesitation. Bodyboarders dominate the peak and hold the inside knowledge on which sections to avoid on the reef.

The break sits directly beside the TF-47 coastal road at the K16 marker. Roadside parking is available with no fee. A surf shop operates in the vicinity. No lifeguard, restrooms, showers or surf school on site.
