Arenal de Moris is a wide, open sand-bottom beachbreak on the eastern Asturias coast, producing shifting left and right peaks across a generous stretch of beach. The wave has a steep face for a beachbreak but runs at medium pace rather than racing, with well-covered sections that stay surfable rather than hollowing out aggressively. It handles a broad swell window from west through northwest to north, with the optimal angle sitting around NW. A southerly offshore cleans up the faces and is reliably on offer when the predominant land breezes settle. The break works across all tide stages thanks to its open sand bottom, with conditions staying predictable rather than tide-critical. Wave lengths run 50 to 100m, giving intermediates room to work a full ride. The rural setting keeps weekend crowds manageable outside summer peaks - consistent enough to draw regulars but never a pressure cooker.
Steep sand peaks that shift across Moris's full width, never hollowing, never rushing.
