San Antolin.

San Antolin is a roughly 1,200-metre sand beach tucked into a bay in the Llanes municipality of Asturias, backed by green hills and visible from the coast road. The break is a beachbreak with rivermouth influence, producing shifting left and right peaks across the bay that run at medium pace with well-covered, forgiving walls rather than hollow sections. Wave length typically sits in the 50 to 100 metre range, giving intermediates room to work turns without the urgency of a fast or critical takeoff. The spot handles a wide swell window from W through N, with the optimal window tightening around NW. Banks at each end of the bay tend to organise the swell better than the middle, and both ends can produce a distinct left or right depending on sandbar position. Consistency is solid thanks to the rivermouth configuration funnelling sand onto the bars, though bar quality varies with seasonal shifts. A southerly offshore keeps faces clean and is the standard condition when Atlantic groundswells arrive in autumn and winter.
