A boat-access right breaking over dead coral shelf in the narrow passage between Simeulue's mainland and Pulau Batu Belahir. The wave offers fast, hollow sections with vertical takeoffs that barrel along the reef before hitting a dangerously shallow inside section where surfers need to kick out cleanly. On bigger swells in the 1.5-3m range, the takeoff zone shifts to deeper water further outside, opening up the possibility of riding through to the channel rather than bailing at the end section. The wave wells up and runs with speed, rewarding committed surfers who can handle a steep drop and quick tube. Situated near the well-known Thailand break, Passage Rights picks up overspill crowds when that wave gets busy, though for the most part the lineup stays quiet. Reaching the spot requires a boat from the Labuhan Bakti area. The dead coral bottom and shallow end section demand respect, and the incoming tide tends to produce the cleanest conditions. Experienced riders only, as the fast wall and abrupt shallow finish leave little room for hesitation.
