Fishermans Cove.

A right-hander that runs across the front of a small bay on the Alus Alus coast, breaking over dead coral reef. The wave is steep and punchy with bowly sections that well up off the reef, producing a fast wall with occasional flat spots. Sections shift around, with lefts appearing unpredictably before the wave reorganizes into lined-up rights. It needs some west in the swell direction to wrap into the bay and fires best on solid S to SW groundswell in the 1-2.5m range. The south-facing orientation means it picks up consistent swell through the season, though it sits in the shadow of more popular breaks nearby. Entry is via a jump off into a deep channel, which is more forgiving than the breaks further west along this coast but still demands reef surfing experience. Mid-tide only, with the outgoing push preferred. The lineup sees virtually zero traffic because most surfers head to The Wall, which is easier to access and more user-friendly. That solitude is the trade-off for a slightly more involved entry and the shifty nature of the peak. Any northerly wind cleans things up.
