Headland Left is the main wave directly in front of the prominent headland at Pig Stone Beach. It breaks over a mix of rocks and sand, offering a medium-length left with several turn sections. The wave is disorganised but can be rewarding with patience. It works best on small to medium swells and mid-to-high tide, closing out at low tide or when the swell is too large.

Surf in the morning. The dry season trade wind often turns sideshore later in the day.
March, April, October and November have the lightest winds here. Dry season swells are frequently too big for this peak.
