Pandawa is a southern Bukit Peninsula reef break reached through the dramatic cliffs above Pandawa Beach. It receives south and southwest swells, producing short, punchy lefts and rights when the swell has enough size. The reef is more forgiving on a rising or higher tide, while low water exposes the shallowest sections. The beach is a popular tourist destination, so swimmers, beach users, and surf lessons can add congestion near the inside. It suits confident intermediates and advanced surfers, although smaller conditions may be manageable for capable beginners with supervision.
The beach is busy with tourists, especially on weekends and holidays, although the surf lineup is usually less crowded than Bali’s main west-coast breaks.
