Dreamland, also known as New Kuta, is a popular surf spot located on the Bukit Peninsula in Bali, Indonesia, featuring both a sand-covered reef break to the north and a beach break to the south. The reef break offers soft left and right waves that are best surfed at lower tides, making it ideal for progressing beginners. The beach break is more unpredictable and often closes out but can produce quality waves when the sand banks align. Swells from the southwest produce the best conditions, with the spot working well on small to medium-sized swells. The beach is easily accessible and family-friendly but has become heavily developed and can get crowded, especially during the dry season and holidays. Hazards include strong shorebreaks or shore dump, particularly on larger swells and higher tides, occasional rip currents, and submerged rocks near the takeoff zone.
