Playa de Esteiro is a north-facing sand-bottom beachbreak in Galicia, picking up W to N swell more reliably than many nearby bays. The central peak is the focal point: at low tide it throws a fast left with occasional barrelling sections before shutting down inside 50 metres. Rights appear off the same peak but tend to run shorter and softer. The spot sits well below the radar of the Pantin crowd, keeping lineups manageable even in summer when travelling surfers find it. A southeast wind is the offshore, aligning well with the prevailing autumn and winter patterns as Atlantic groundswells push through. The optimal size window runs from 0.9 to 2.4 metres. The beach carries no facilities, so arrive self-sufficient. Free parking sits above the sand. A stream drains into the southern corner and can affect water quality after heavy rain. Rip currents develop across the bay on a falling tide and deserve attention.
