Nois.

Nois is a sand-bottom beachbreak facing northeast on the Galician coast between the towns of Foz and Burela. Rocky reef strata running through the middle of the beach create defined sandbars that hold the best banks, producing crumbly, medium-paced peaks with steep sections and a tendency toward slopiness rather than power. The break needs a solid NW to N swell of at least 0.9m to switch on, with a south to southwest wind to clean up the faces. All tides are workable, though the incoming tide tends to produce the most consistent conditions as the banks fill in and flatten out somewhat. Wave lengths run 50 to 100m. The environment is relatively quiet outside surf sessions, but Nois draws heavy crowds whenever a west wind blows out the bigger, more exposed breaks along the Cantabrian coast, turning it into the default fallback for the wider area. Free parking is available at the beach, and camping facilities are accessible at nearby Foz, making it a practical base for exploring the coastline between Foz and Burela.
