Praia do Rock is an exposed sandy beachbreak between Vila do Conde and Caxinas. It predominantly produces short lefts, with rides generally under 50 metres. West swell and east-northeast offshore winds provide the most consistently supported setup. Low and falling tides are preferred, while the break can produce rideable surf year-round, with October through March generally stronger. The public city access is straightforward, with a short walk from nearby parking.
