Magoito is an exposed northwest-facing beach break with sand over flat reef and rock. The northern peak, near the parking area and café, is the best-known wave and offers a long right on larger northwest swells. Smaller surf can be soft and playful, while bigger conditions produce steep drops, fast walls and occasional barrels. Shifting peaks farther along the beach offer both lefts and rights, with the northern rock-platform wave best suited to intermediate and advanced surfers.
