Inatel is a rocky reef break near Forte de Santo Amaro do Areeiro, separate from neighbouring Santo Amaro. It produces hard, hollow, fast and powerful right-hand waves over flat rock. The wave is inconsistent and best suited to experienced surfers when solid west to northwest swell arrives. Mid tide is most favourable, while summer is often flat. Rides are generally short, although exceptional rides can reach around 150 metres.
