Vale Figueira is an exposed, long beachbreak with shifting sandbanks and lefts, rights, and A-frame peaks. The bottom is mainly sand, with rocks or submerged rocks possible beneath the break. WNW swell and SE wind provide the most consistent setup, while the beach remains surfable throughout the year. Winter is especially consistent, with September and October often offering clean, swell-rich conditions. Surf schools use the beach for lessons, but larger days are better suited to intermediate and advanced surfers.
