Praia de Almograve is a rocky, mixed-bottom beach break producing lefts, rights and A-frame peaks. It handles small to medium swells and is suitable for beginners, intermediates and advanced surfers. West to northwest swells and easterly offshore winds are favorable, with rideable surf possible year-round. The beach is divided into northern and southern sandy sections by the Rocha Furada rock formation.
