Burrinho is an exposed, inconsistent rocky reef break over flat rock, with both lefts and rights. Rides commonly reach roughly 300-500 metres, with exceptional waves exceeding 500 metres. It starts breaking around 6-8 feet and can handle much larger swell, including waves above 16 feet. West ground swell with east offshore wind and a rising to high tide provides the best setup. The break suits intermediate surfers at minimum, with experienced surfers preferred for larger conditions.
