Aivados is an exposed Atlantic beachbreak at Praia dos Aivados, with sand-based peaks breaking both left and right. It is known for strong swell and can produce rideable surf throughout the year. Rides are generally under 50 metres, occasionally reaching approximately 50-150 metres on good days. The beach is remote and has no reported facilities or beach support. Access involves difficult unpaved roads followed by a trail, and the beach is usually quiet outside the summer months.
