Long, forgiving left that peels across a dead coral reef on the southern side of a coconut-lined bay. The wave rolls with slow, playful walls rather than power, offering cutback-friendly faces and easy shoulders on the outside peak. Small to medium swells produce the longest rides, connecting from the cliff section across the inside shelf to the channel. Larger swells still work, though the wave shortens and steepens on the inside. Simeulue's most consistent spot by a wide margin, picking up swell from SE through to W, with S to SSW producing the cleanest lines. Even onshore W winds leave it rideable, making it the go-to check when everywhere else is flat. The paddle out crosses rocky shallows that most surfers navigate in booties. Access requires a 15-minute motorbike track through deep puddles that can drown engines in the wet season. A short, punchy right breaks on the opposite side of the channel on SW swells, offering a change of pace for regular-footers. Moderate crowds when conditions line up, but the long, sectioning wall spreads riders out effectively.
