Surf spot guide · Bali, Indonesia
Masceti is a powerful, consistent right-hand river-mouth beach break in southeast Bali with a boulder bottom and generally uncrowded waves, ideal for experienced surfers.
Masceti is a river-mouth beach break located on Bali's southeast coast, known for its powerful, punchy waves and fast sections. The spot works best on a solid south or southwest swell, producing both lefts and rights over a mostly sandy bottom with occasional rocks. The waves here can get heavy and challenging, especially during the peak dry season. Strong currents, rips, and shifting peaks make it best suited for experienced surfers. Early mornings offer the cleanest conditions with offshore winds. Despite its quality, Masceti can get crowded with local and visiting surfers.
