The bottom is a mix of coral reef and sand, and the break works well at all tides, with mid tide often being optimal. Lebih handles a range of swell sizes, with the best swells coming from the south to south-southwest, and west to north-west winds are ideal for clean conditions. Waves here are generally softer than Bali’s famous reefs, making it a good choice for those seeking less intense surf. Hazards include strong currents, sudden rips, occasional submerged rocks, and some local fishing activity, so surfers should assess conditions and their abilities before entering the water. Crowds are much lighter than at Kuta or Keramas, especially on weekdays. The area is easily accessible, with parking, local warungs, and a scenic, culturally rich landscape nearby.
