La Santa Derecha is a long right-hand point reeling down the south side of La Isleta over an uneven reef shelf, with two distinct sections that link up on the cleanest days. The wave is fast and steep, boiling over shallow inside slabs, with bowly takeoff zones giving way to open walls that hold size up to head-and-a-half overhead and beyond. NW through N swells produce the best shape and can deliver hollow sections when an easterly offshore lines up; W swells tend to section the point and push sneaker sets through the lineup. The break, formerly known as Morro Negro, sits inside one of the most concentrated big-wave reef clusters in the Canaries, alongside El Quemao and La Santa Izquierda just down the road. Access is from the south side of La Isleta with free roadside parking near the village of La Santa. Crowds are heavy year-round, mixing visiting pros with a tight local crew, and the length of the point is what keeps the lineup workable.
