Frejulfe.

Frejulfe is a top-quality beachbreak sitting inside a protected nature reserve on Asturias' western coast, backed by pine forest and rarely troubled by crowds. The beach runs roughly 800 meters and splits into two distinct sections: a rivermouth at the eastern end that delivers punchy, channelled rights at low tide, and a rockier western end that builds longer, more powerful walls from incoming through high tide. Both sections fire on W to N swells in the 1-2.5m range, with the spot capable of handling up to solid 2.5m faces before it becomes unwieldy. The wave breaks over sand throughout and tends to pitch with enough force to demand commitment on takeoff, rewarding surfers who can read shifting peaks. Sections reach 50-100m on better days. The best protection comes from southerly winds, which groom the faces cleanly. At low tide the eastern rivermouth is the priority; as the tide pushes in, attention shifts west toward the rockier end where the energy wraps more consistently.
