Cabo Raso is a distinct rocky reef right-hander breaking directly in front of the lighthouse. The wave is fast, powerful and capable of long rides, working only with particular swell and wind combinations. Its strongest expression comes with large northwest swell and east wind, especially from November through March. This is an expert-level wave, with serious conditions sometimes requiring jet skis or boats for tow-in logistics and safety. Access is via the EN247, with parking near the lighthouse, but entering and exiting over the rocks is demanding.
