Praia Paredes is an exposed, sand-bottom beach break producing both lefts and rights. It accepts groundswells and windswells and can offer rideable surf throughout the year. West-northwest swell with east-southeast offshore wind provides the most favorable combination. The beach works through all tide stages, although submerged hazards require extra attention at lower tide. Sandy conditions and local surf-school instruction make it suitable for learning and progression.
