Pico da Mina is a long, powerful right-hand point break over flat rock. The wave can become tubular and produce rides exceeding 500 metres. It is experienced-surfer terrain, with a long paddle and difficult shore access. The break lies opposite the Cabo Mondego factory complex and may link with Teimoso on large swells. Mid tide is the preferred stage.
