A long left and right at Jungle Beach, quiet and best on small swell.
Jungle Beach, on Weligama’s western headland, offers a long left and a mirrored right. Both need some swell and light winds to work well. The left is more consistent, mixing fast shallow sections with slower shoulders, while the right breaks shorter but can still produce long rides. At mid tide, bigger swells open up extra peaks further west. The beach is exclusive and quiet, with few surfers, but the long paddle means you’ll need energy to get back in.

Access via a short, sometimes muddy trail through the jungle off Kalukanda Road, between Weligama and Midigama. The turn is tucked away from the main road and easy to miss, and the track drops down past the Cape Weligama hotel.
