Los Enanos.

Los Enanos is a boulder-and-sand a-frame beachbreak sitting along the undeveloped Playa de San Andres, one of the more consistent spots on the Gran Canaria north coast. The break fires on any swell in a wide W-to-E window, making it a reliable option when bigger reef breaks along the coast are closing out or switching off. Waves are slopey and medium-paced rather than hollow, with the peak producing defined lefts off the west end of the beach offering easy, forgiving walls suited to beginners and improvers looking to work on turns. Low to rising tide is the sweet window, bringing the banks to life and pushing the crowd to spread out along the beach. A southerly wind keeps faces clean. The bottom mixes boulders and sand, so sea urchins are present and board contact with the seabed is a genuine risk in shallow sections. Crowd levels run high and consistent, though the wave tends to spread people across the break rather than pack them onto a single peak. The surrounding area remains refreshingly low-key and undeveloped by Gran Canaria standards.
