The right features a steep, backdoor-style take-off and shallow inside section, while the left offers a more forgiving line. It generally needs substantial swell, working around 1.2-3 m and performing best once nearby Ujung Bocur reaches at least head-high. Southeast to east winds, southwest swell, and mid-to-high tides favor the break. It suits competent intermediate and advanced surfers rather than beginners.
