Bali Village, also called Melasti Beach, is a scattered reef break with a series of left and right peaks breaking over coral reef near the local Hindu temple. The waves are often disorganized and strewn with rocks, with quality generally low, but the spot offers uncrowded waves especially on small swells and light northeast winds. It is best surfed at high tide, as low tide exposes sharp and shallow reef, requiring caution when accessing the break over the reef. While not the most consistent or high-quality wave, Bali Village can provide fun, empty sessions for intermediate and advanced surfers.
