Dalawella is a reef break on the southwest coast, offering short, fun rides that suit intermediates and up. The waves break over flat rock and coral, and the main hazard is the sea urchins, so plan your way in and out carefully. It is a right with smaller, faster left sections, and it is inconsistent: it needs a good south swell before it starts going. The lineup is usually quiet, and the beach has plenty of space to spread out, making it a relaxed spot to surf and enjoy the scenery.
