Troia Surf Spot Guide — Alentejo, Portugal

Tróia is an exposed beach break on the Atlantic-facing Tróia Peninsula in Alentejo, rather than in Lisbon proper. The sandy-bottom wave produces short lefts and rights but is inconsistent. Southwest swell and northeast offshore wind offer the clearest setup. Dangerous rip currents require attention, despite some guide classifications describing the beach as suitable for beginners and all surfers.
