The Beachie (Daocavanaca).

The Beachie, also known as Daocavanaca, is a swell-exposed beach break on the southwest fringe of the Telo Islands, built over hard-packed coral sand that shifts with each significant swell. Multiple S-SW swell vectors converge to throw up crossed-up A-frame peaks, producing short, wedging take-offs that drop fast into thick, hollow barrels. The wave is fast from the moment it stands up. At its best around 1.2 m, it rewards experienced surfers with genuine air-drop-to-barrel opportunities; above roughly 1.8 m the banks tend to close out. Because it needs northeast winds and breaks over sand rather than coral, it comes alive on smaller days when surrounding reef breaks are flat, making it a valuable card in any Telos charter itinerary. The critical tactical detail is getting your wave on the first set: the paddle back through the reformed whitewater can be so draining that a second attempt may not be physically possible before the tender needs to move. Crowds are rare given the remoteness, but the window for good conditions is narrow.
