Lucky Man's.

Lucky Man's is the easternmost right pointbreak in El Salvador, tucked into the Gulf of Fonseca where the coastline bends hard toward Nicaragua and Honduras. The wave reels over a bottom of boulders and sand, producing long performance walls of 200 to 500 metres when a big south swell has enough angle to wrap around the headland and into the gulf. Takeoffs tend to be steep with some boil, then the face settles into a medium-to-fast, slopey shoulder suited to drawn-out carves rather than barrels. The setting is the defining feature: Conchagua volcano rises directly behind the point, with the mountains of Nicaragua and Honduras stacked across the water. Access is overland via the remote stretch between Playitas and El Tamarindo, and most visitors explore the zone by boat since the area is wild and loosely serviced. It rarely breaks and rarely sees a crowd, so scoring it is genuinely a matter of luck.
