Las Flores.

Las Flores is a right-hand point, also known locally as Punta Silla, that wraps around a palm-fringed cobblestone headland before reeling down a black-sand bar toward shore. The takeoff jacks up over the outside rocks into a steep, hollow drop, then trims into fast, wally sections with occasional barrels as the wave transitions onto sand. Rides of up to 300 metres are common on a proper south swell, and the point can handle serious size when southern-ocean storms fire. Low through rising tide produces the cleanest shape and the hollower inside sections, while a full high tide softens the wall and favours smaller days. Regarded as one of the premier point breaks in Central America, it sits alongside Punta Roca at the top of El Salvador's surf map. Access is straightforward from the beach in front of the Las Flores resort strip near El Cuco, with roadside parking and camping available. Panga boat traffic runs constantly through the lineup, and the crowd factor is real whenever a swell shows.
