Praia da Vigia, also known as Praia do Amanhã, is a sandy beach break north of Santa Cruz. Shifting peaks produce both lefts and rights, with rides generally under 50 metres. West to north swells and east to southeast winds are favourable, while all tide stages can work. The broad urban beach attracts surfers and summer holidaymakers, and is suitable for all levels when conditions are small.
