Sablettes Beach.

Sablettes Beach is the workhorse beachbreak of Mohammedia, sitting on an open sand stretch east of the harbour. The bank produces a well-defined right peeling off the central bank and a softer left running toward the rocks of La Piscine at the southern end. The bottom is pure sand, the wave is well-covered and slopey rather than hollow, and takeoffs stay forgiving across the tide, which is why it has become the default classroom for the Casablanca region. It picks up West through North swell and works from waist-high learner days up to head-and-a-half, with the right holding best on cleaner mid-period swell and a northerly offshore. Marhaba Surf School, run by French champions Micky Picon and Yann Martin, has operated on the beach for years and supplies most local rentals and lessons. Parking is roadside, access is straight off the sand, and on summer weekends the lineup fills fast with Mohammedia day-trippers and beginner groups.
