Oued Cherrat.

Oued Cherrat is a beachbreak laced with reef patches sitting at the mouth of the river of the same name, on the Atlantic coast between Casablanca and Rabat. The bottom is a shifting mix of sand and uneven reef, which gives the peaks a steeper, vertical-takeoff feel than a pure sand beach and tends to favour the rights. The wave wakes up early in the season because it pulls in small swells that leave neighbouring beaches flat, and it can still hold a clean shape under a touch of onshore west breeze. Best alignment comes from W through N groundswell with an easterly offshore grooming the faces, across all tides. Access is short and straightforward via a brief walk from the roadside, so the lineup fills quickly when conditions line up. Skill expectations sit firmly in the intermediate band: the takeoffs are steep but the medium-paced walls down the line are manageable.
